Card Comp — Delete Your Account
Card Comp, developed by the Card Comp team · Last updated: October 5, 2026
You can delete your Card Comp account and its data at any time, from the app or by email.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
In the app (iOS, Android, or web)
- Sign in to Card Comp.
- Open Settings.
- Tap Delete account, then confirm.
Your account is deleted right away and you are signed out.
Without the app
Email admin@cardcomp.app
from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my Card Comp account". If you
signed in with Apple and hid your email, tell us that and we will confirm your account another
way before deleting it. We complete email requests within 30 days and reply when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in account and profile: name, email address, phone number, business name, and
profile photo.
- Your scan history (every card and sealed product you scanned or looked up) and your lists.
- Your collections, trades, payment handles, payment and deal records (including any names,
contact details, and payment handles you entered for the people you dealt with), exports,
and any image reports you made.
These are removed from our live database immediately. Copies in routine backups and
operational logs expire within 30 days.
The delete confirmation in app versions up to 1.4.0 says card records are kept
but no longer linked to you; that was true of account deletion before October 2026. Deleting an
account now deletes them, whichever app version you use.
What is kept, and for how long
- Anonymous market price points — a card, a price, a source, and a date —
are kept indefinitely, because they make up every user's price charts. They never recorded
who scanned the card, so they cannot be linked back to you.
- Certificate lookups — a grading company's certificate number and the card
it identifies — are kept as shared reference data so the same slab is identified faster
next time. They hold no account, user, or scan reference, so there is nothing in them to
link to you. A certificate number is printed on the slab and moves with the card.
- Nothing else. No copy of your account, profile, or scan history is kept outside the backups
and logs described above.
