Card Comp — Privacy Policy

Card Comp ("we", "us") is a pricing tool for trading-card vendors, available at
www.cardcomp.app and through our mobile apps. This policy
describes what information we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you request access we collect your email address
and name, and optionally your phone number and business name. If you sign in with Google,
we receive your email address and basic profile information (including your profile photo)
from Google.
- Card records. When you scan or look up a card we record the lookup — the
grader, certificate number, the card identified, and its estimated value at the time —
against your account, along with the lists and payment records you create.
- Camera. The camera is used to read graded-card labels. Frames are processed
on your device for text recognition and are not uploaded, stored, or shared.
Only the card details read from the label are sent to our servers to identify and value the
card.
How we use it
- To operate the service: authenticate you, enforce per-account usage limits, and show you
your own scan history and lists.
- To review access requests and administer accounts.
- To maintain business records of card lookups and valuations over time.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not share your information with third parties except the service providers that host
the product (e.g. our database, hosting, and authentication providers) and as required by law.
- We do not use your information for advertising.
Data access and isolation
Your scan history is visible only to your account and to Card Comp administrators. Other
vendors cannot see your data.
Data retention and deletion
We retain account and usage records while your account is active. On request, we will delete
your account and your personal information (name, email, phone, business name, profile photo).
Card records are retained. Records of card lookups and valuations — the
grader, certificate number, card identity, and estimated value at the time of the scan — are
business records of the service and are retained for record-keeping and to improve card
identification, including after account deletion. After deletion they are no
longer associated with your personal information.
To delete your account, use Settings → Delete account in the app,
or contact us at the address below.
