These terms govern your use of Card Comp at www.cardcomp.app and through our mobile apps. By using the service you agree to them.
Card Comp lets trading-card vendors and collectors identify graded cards and sealed products, view market value estimates and price history, and keep collections, lists, and trades. Anyone 18 or older can create an account by signing in with Apple, Google, or an email address. We may limit, suspend, or close accounts that break these terms. The service is intended for adults (18+): it is built for buying and selling cards and recording the payments for those deals.
Card Comp is in early access. Every account currently receives the Pro plan's features free of charge, and paid plans are not yet available — nothing in the service can charge you today. When paid plans launch, their prices, billing period, and renewal and cancellation terms will be shown to you before you buy, and these terms will be updated to cover them. Free early-access features may change when paid plans launch.
The "Suggested Market Value" and any other price shown is an estimate blended from third-party market data. It is provided for informational purposes only. It is not an appraisal, a valuation, an offer to buy or sell, or financial advice, and we make no guarantee of its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Card markets move and data sources can be wrong or stale. Any purchase, sale, offer, or other decision you make in reliance on information shown by the service is entirely your own responsibility.
Card Comp does not hold, transfer, or process money. Payment features only help you open or record transactions you carry out yourself in third-party apps (such as Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, or Zelle). Those transactions are between you and your counterparty, subject to the third party's terms. We are not a party to them and are not responsible for their completion, reversal, or disputes.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or any feature) at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Card Comp and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of the service — including decisions made in reliance on value estimates shown by the service. To the same extent, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim (which may be zero).
You agree to indemnify and hold Card Comp and its operators harmless from claims arising out of your use of the service, your transactions with third parties, or your violation of these terms.
Card Comp is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Creatures, GAME FREAK, Wizards of the Coast, TCGplayer, eBay, Card Ladder, Alt, PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator), CGC (Certified Guaranty Company), Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, or Zelle. Card names, images, and other marks belong to their respective owners and are shown only to identify the item you scanned or looked up.
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete account) or as described on our account deletion page. Deleting your account deletes your account data, including your scan history; anonymous market price points and certificate lookups (a certificate number and the card it identifies), which never identified you, are retained, as described in our Privacy Policy.
