These terms govern your use of Card Comp at www.cardcomp.app and through our mobile apps. By using the service you agree to them.
Card Comp lets approved trading-card vendors identify graded cards and view market value estimates. Access requires an account and approval by a Card Comp administrator. We may approve, deny, limit, or revoke access at our discretion. The service is intended for business use by adults (18+).
The "Suggested Market Value" and any other price shown is an estimate blended from third-party market data. It is provided for informational purposes only. It is not an appraisal, a valuation, an offer to buy or sell, or financial advice, and we make no guarantee of its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Card markets move and data sources can be wrong or stale. Any purchase, sale, offer, or other decision you make in reliance on information shown by the service is entirely your own responsibility.
Card Comp does not hold, transfer, or process money. Payment features only help you open or record transactions you carry out yourself in third-party apps (such as Venmo). Those transactions are between you and your counterparty, subject to the third party's terms. We are not a party to them and are not responsible for their completion, reversal, or disputes.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or any feature) at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Card Comp and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of the service — including decisions made in reliance on value estimates shown by the service. To the same extent, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim (which may be zero).
You agree to indemnify and hold Card Comp and its operators harmless from claims arising out of your use of the service, your transactions with third parties, or your violation of these terms.
Card lookup and transaction records created through the service may be retained for business record-keeping as described in our Privacy Policy, including after account deletion.
